Party Time!
I don’t know where this year went, but the holiday season is officially upon us and it’s time to breakout those party ‘fits for this year’s festivities! Here are some looks we are loving this holiday season!
Velvet is playing a starring role again this winter and you can’t go wrong with a great pair of velvet shoes. The Dusty Gray Elaine’s up the ante on this simple, but classic party look. Tween girls want fun, but comfort still plays a big role in their fashion decisions. This elastic waist skirt and 1.5” wedge heel shoe = comfort without compromising cute.
A classic, cozy, sweater dress can also be given a holiday twist when paired with the Pine Elaine’s. The rich green mixed with the lux velvety texture on the shoes makes this versatile dress party ready at any given moment.
Tweed is also taking center stage this winter and I am personally here for it. I love a classic textile that I can take from day to night. Tween fashion is no different. They need versatile pieces that can move the way they do and can be dressed up or down. This tweed skirt and black, cotton, puff sleeve shirt are a great example of this. Pair this look with the Brooke Glitter lug sole boot for a more casual vibe (hello dinner out on a Friday night!) OR add the Pine Elaine’s for a holiday party (or visit with Santa…) ready look.
Leather is also a go to textile this winter (and it’s SO versatile in tween fashion!). Pairing a simple black leather skirt with a fun sweater is a casual, but trendy way to create a look that can go to school OR to a party. These pieces shown here can be mixed and matched for any occasion. The classic, black leather Elaine ballerinas are a perfect dress shoe that can go with anything (their low heel and cushy footbed make them just as comfortable as they are cute). And you definitely can’t go wrong with the Brooke Graffiti lug sole boots (which just so happened to be pictured in People Magazine this November!)
The best tween fashion is ultimately functional with a touch of trendy. These party inspired looks aim to check those boxes and give your girls the confidence they need to feel their best. Let us know what your girls are wearing this holiday season!
